The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 require employers to provide adequate and appropriate equipment, facilities and personnel to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work, these regulations apply to all workplaces.

2 Day – Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work – Requalification
Suitable for people who already hold a First Aid at Work qualification which is due to expire. Must be completed prior to the original qualification expiring.
1 Day – Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work
This course is suitable for workplaces with low staff numbers and or low-risk environments such as offices where no previous medical histories are identified.
2 Day – Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid
This course is suitable for people who care for / teach children and meets Ofsted Early Years and Childcare Register requirements. It is also used as evidence of employees working towards and NVQ in Education & Childcare.
1 Day – Level 2 Award in Paediatric Emergency First Aid
This course is suitable for people working as part of a team with other colleagues who hold a full Paediatric First Aid certificate. Anyone caring or teaching young children, infants or babies in a professional capacity must hold this course as a minimum.
3 Hour – Level 2 Award in Student First Aid
All students of 11+ years are now required to complete a basic first aid course. This 3-hour regulated course meets this compulsory Government requirement.
3 Hour – Mini Medics First Aid
This course is suitable for primary schools, after school clubs and organisations such as Cubs, Brownies and Scouts. The course gives a basic introduction to First Aid and Defibrillation.
3 Hour – Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support
This 2-3 hour course is suitable for anyone and provides knowledge of vital lifesaving skills to take in an emergency. Topics covered are resuscitation, safe use of an AED, primary survey, recovery position and choking.
1 Day – Level 2 Award in CPR & AED (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillation)
This highly practical 1 day course allows suitably qualified First Aiders to use an AED competently and with true confidence, other aspects of First Aid including CPR are also covered thoroughly.
4 Hour – Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Safe Use of an AED
This course is suitable for anyone and comprises a minimum of 4 hours of practical and theoretical instruction and covers resuscitation, minor injuries, how to deal with an unresponsive casualty and use of an AED.
Catastrophic Bleeding Course
This course has been developed to meet the needs of high-risk industries where catastrophic bleeding events are a risk. It covers the use and dangers of Tourniquets and Haemostatic dressing and how to administer first aid in a high-risk environment for the purpose of saving a life.
Forestry First Aid Course
This 2-hour course provides extra training in crush injuries, catastrophic bleeding and use of tourniquets & haemostats. Particularly suitable for anyone working in Forestry or land management where chain saw injuries etc are possible.
1 Day – Level 3 Award in Oxygen Therapy Administration
This course can be attended by qualified First Aiders, Emergency First Aiders, Dental practitioners and dental care professionals, nurses and healthcare professionals or others who work in a location were oxygen is available for patient/casualty welfare.
2 Day – Level 3 Award in Activity First Aid
This course is designed for those involved in outdoor activities and covers life threatening conditions including CPR, bleeding and choking.
Immediate Management of Anaphylaxis 1 Day Course
Anaphylaxis is a serious life-threatening allergic reaction. This course is for qualified First Aiders or Emergency First Aiders and allows them to recognise and treat anaphylaxis safely and effectively.
3 Hour – Airway Management
This course provides in-depth theoretical and practical skills on how to manage an airway effectively during an emergency.
Half Day – First Aid Annual Refresher Course
This 3-hour course is for qualified First Aiders in any classification and is strongly recommended by HSE.
2 Hour – Appointed Person Course
This 2-hour theoretical course covers legislation, responsibilities, equipment, accident reporting and first aid risk assessments.
