3 Hour – Mini Medics First Aid

Course Overview

This course is designed for children between the ages of 8-11 but will suit children of any age. The Mini Medics course is kept at a basic level, showing respect and appreciation of the child’s ability with no confusing terminology.

Mini Medics will give children a very basic introduction to First Aid and Defibrillation, our teaching is educational, practical and fun and importantly instils the need to help someone who is poorly or injured.

This course is perfect for primary schools, secondary schools, after school clubs, sports clubs, along with organisations such as Cubs, Brownies and Scouts.

Syllabus:

• A range of topics are covered including contacting the emergency services, CPR, how to use an AED, choking and many more.
• Minor burns and scalds
• Fractures and dislocations
• Sprains and strains
