Emergency Evacuation

It is an employer’s responsibility to ensure that their employees receive relevant evacuation training, and are proficient in the use of any and all equipment. The Fire Safety Order of 2005 makes it clear that it is not the responsibility of the fire service or any other emergency service to evacuate your building. You and your staff must be able to fully evacuate themselves or you are in breach of this law.

No business is exempt from this and virtually every commercial building requires evacuation equipment, even one based solely on the ground floor.

Our hands-on practical emergency evacuation training courses are designed to teach your staff how to use equipment and how to safely evacuate themselves and others from the building in an emergency. These courses are held on-site so that your employees can learn to use the equipment in their own environment. We cover the theory on emergency evacuation routes and practical deployment and the use of evacuation chairs, evacuation pads, slide sheets and slings etc.

All of our training team have manufacturer-approved training and are instructors in their own right, our training courses are highly interactive and engaging ensuring that your staff are fully confident in operating an emergency and moving and handling equipment.
